Lack of Communication and Unprofessionalism
The reviewers have expressed their dissatisfaction with MJM Plumbing and Heating due to poor communication and unprofessional conduct. Michael Hurst, who requested a quote for bathroom refurbishment, was frustrated with the lack of response and subsequent delays, despite chasing up multiple times. He was disappointed with the proprietor's excuse of staff sickness and holiday, which seemed unacceptable.
Unreliable and Incompetent Services
Keith Bridges had a horrible experience with the company when they turned off his gas supply and issued a 'Danger Do Not Use' sticker on the boiler without his presence or prior consent. The reason given was flawed, and the readings taken by the engineer were misinterpreted. Subsequently, another firm of Gas Engineers was called, and they found the output gases to be well within the required specifications, issuing a Gas Safety Certificate.
Unreliable Scheduling and Threats
Jeni Hadenham's mother had to wait three weeks to have her heating fixed, and when she tried to make arrangements, the engineers told her it was too late and left. When Jeni called to complain, she was told there was no point, and when she threatened to leave a bad review, she was threatened with court action.
