Founded in 1939 by Edward Dugdale, our company has seen three generations of customer care, combined with old-fashioned standards and high-quality workmanship. Our family firm is committed to providing peace of mind for the plumbing, heating, and electrical needs of our customers.
Our History
Our journey began in 1939, when Edward Dugdale, a young man from Manchester, opened his wireless repairs and electrical shop in Anchorsholme Lane East. His son, Malcolm, left school at 15 and attended technical college to qualify as an electrician. Malcolm's brother, Barry, who recently retired, ran a TV repair business separately, and Malcolm went on to expand the electrical, plumbing, and heating business. Today, Malcolm has passed the reins to his son, Wayne, although there is no such thing as retirement in a family business.
