Murch and Baker Heating Ltd was founded in 2004 by Danny Baker and Paul Murch, two experienced professionals with a combined total of over 70 years of experience in the industry. Starting their careers as apprentices in 1978, both Danny and Paul have worked their way up through the ranks and have extensive knowledge of the industry. In 2004, they identified a gap in the market for a mid-sized industrial and commercial company, and Murch and Baker Heating Ltd was born.

Since its inception, the company has grown to employ 16 on-site engineers and six office staff. The majority of on-site engineers have completed their apprenticeships with Murch and Baker Heating Ltd and have progressed to become highly skilled on-site engineers. Over the years, the company has expanded its services to offer clients a wide range of solutions, including renewable heating, air conditioning, underfloor heating, ventilation systems, commercial and industrial heating, and more.

• Heat Pump Servicing and Installation: We service and install air source and ground source heat pumps, ensuring they operate at their best.

• Boiler Servicing & Installation: We service and install heating boilers of all types, ensuring your heating system is reliable and efficient.

• Commercial Buildings Heating, Ventilation, and Air-Conditioning: We provide heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning solutions for various commercial buildings.

• Luxury Houses: We carry out mechanical installations for bespoke houses within the South West of England.

Projects

We have completed numerous projects over the years, showcasing our expertise and commitment to quality. Some examples of our work include:

• Lands' End Airport: We were involved in the construction of a new terminal building in Cornwall, which included the design and installation of all mechanical services such as air conditioning to the tower area, heat recovery ventilation, and domestic services including sanitary ware.

• Valeport Ltd: We were part of the construction of a new bespoke building that met all required energy efficiencies. The building was installed with air conditioning throughout, VRV, new sanitary ware, domestic services, and above ground drainage.

• Secular Retreat: In South Devon, we worked with one of the greatest architects in the world, Peter Zumthor, to create Secular Retreat, a unique and beautiful structure that showcases our skills and expertise.
