Our Story
Our journey began in 1975 when Barry Birdsall founded Birdsall Air Conditioning. Initially, the company provided air conditioning services, and then expanded into providing design and new installations. Within five years, the company had grown into a team of ten people. We were one of the pioneers in establishing a market for CFC-free air conditioning as a green alternative to conventional air conditioning.
Throughout our history, we have been committed to innovation and investing in new services to meet the changing landscape and technology. We have played a key role in establishing the CHP-Absorption market, also known as tri-generation, which enables customers to significantly reduce their carbon footprint and operating costs.
Our Services
We offer a range of specialist services across four business units:
- Building Services: Our Building Services team provides mechanical and electrical services, including design, installation, and maintenance.
- HVAC Services: Our HVAC Services team provides heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and chiller services.
- Energy Services: Our Energy Services team provides energy centres, district energy networks, and heat networks services.
- Project Services: Our Project Services team provides air conditioning, chillers, heating, ventilation, electrical, and controls services.
