Our Story

Our story began in 1985, when Derek, a physics and geology graduate from the University of Glasgow, and his father formed a new plumbing and heating partnership. After working in a laboratory testing grain for the whisky industry, Derek decided to take on a new challenge and team up with his father to establish James Neil & Son.
